CGRundertow VOLTRON for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

Voltron Review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Voltorn, a land-and-space shooter with intermittent giant robots developed by Behaviour Interactive and published in 2011 by THQ for the XBox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The Defenders of the Universe are back, with none of that truck nonsense. This is all lions, all the time, except when it’s a giant robot MADE of lions. This is Voltron, a little bit of anime prehistory brought back to us in the form of a really awesome, frantic and intense, five-player action shooter. Would that more childhood memories be so lovingly rendered in video game form. (And yes, I know that the Samurai Pizza Cats already have a Famicom game.) This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Voltron for the XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s TJ. Movies To Video Games Review — Spider-Man (PS2,GC,XBOX,PC)

Movies To Video Games Reviews Review #27 –This is a Fan Requested Review– Spider-Man for the Playstation 2, GameCube, XboX and PC, is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself. Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. To save on space and time in the video, the score tallies and descriptions of how I got to the scores are listed here instead. They are on a 0-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible: Story Accuracy to the Movie 6.5 out of 10 (Tries not to give too much of the plot of the film away but still tries to keep it tied in as minimally as possible. Will have a lot of elements from the film in the means of origins and Green Goblin situations but will deviate greatly from the plot with various villains not in the film and many side adventures that have nothing to do with anything.) Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 3.0 (Captures the flavor and feel of the original soundtrack but like most if not all Activision games it is not the real deal in any way. Its still fun for what it is.) Game Difficulty 7.5 (There will be many challenging points but the levels are short and the game can be beaten in a few hours on the easier levels. Anyone can pick this up and jump right into action with no problem. The annoying stages will be just that, but they too can be beaten with a little time and luck devoted to it) Overall Fun 6.5 (Its a lot of fun swinging through

Movies to Video Games Review – Monsters vs. Aliens (PS3, Xbox360, Wii, PS2, PC)

Movies To Video Games Reviews Review #40 Monsters Vs. Aliens for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation 2 and PC is fully reviewed. . Comment, rate and subscribe and look for more to come. Hope you enjoy the re do of my first review ever done way back when. And remember .. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are on a 0-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible and are as follows: Story Accuracy to the Movie 5.0 (The characters and locations and vocals are all from the movie. But besides a few missions that actually are a part of the movies plot, the rest is just filler and lots of it. Without the cutscenes you wouldn’t have any idea if this was supposed to be reliving the moments of the film or not.) Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 1.5 (Very bland and generic music fills this game form start to finish. Nothing at all will really emulate the soundtrack of the film. Very poor effort for this one.) Game Difficulty 5.5 (Very middle of the road here. It’s not that the game is overly difficult at any point. Its so repetitive that playing it does become quite a chore after awhile. The game will get harder as you get deeper into it, but nothing really that anyone this game is geared to will have trouble with.) Overall Fun 4.0 (Has its moments but those die out very quickly once you realize you are doing the same

CGRundertow RAVING RABBIDS: ALIVE & KICKING for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

Rabbids: Alive & Kicking review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Rabbids: Alive & Kicking from Ubisoft for the Xbox 360. Rabbids: Alive & Kicking just doesn’t have the same impact on Kinect as the original Raving Rabbids did on Wii. Its ideas have stagnated. Rabbids: Alive & Kicking is built from the same stale ideas we saw half a decade ago, only with half the minigames, half the charm and half the fun. Rabbids: Alive & Kicking takes them back to their roots. Unlike more recent Rabbids games, this is a minigame compilation developed exclusively for Kinect. In theory, this could be entertaining. In practice, it’s anything but. The minigames in this compilation feel tired from the start, and with the novelty of the game’s activities and characters faded, you’re left with a game that should’ve been released four years ago. And even then, it wouldn’t have been very good. This video review features video gameplay footage of Rabbids: Alive & Kicking for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. CGRundertow ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: CHIPWRECKED for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked from Behaviour Interactive and Majesco for the Xbox 360. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is the video game adaptation of the movie of the same name. We’re not sure why the movie has to exist, and we have similar feelings about this game. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is a dancing game for the Kinect—imagine that. This is basically Dance Central for kids. And with horribly rendered CGI chipmunks. Seriously, why can’t they just be cartoons again? Anyway, the game works just fine and is definitely age appropriate. The dance moves are easy to do, and kids should have no problem completing these vanilla dance routines. This video review features video gameplay footage of Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek. Blackwater review. CGRundertow presents a review of Blackwater for the Xbox 360 by 505 Games and Zombie Studios. CGRundertow FINAL FANTASY XI ONLINE for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

Final Fantasy XI Online Review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Final Fantasy XI Online, a fantasy MMORPG developed and published in 2002 by Squaresoft for the PC, PS2, and XBox 360. Hey, it’s that Final Fantasy no one likes. And that’s a shame. Sure, it’s the only Final Fantasy with monthly fees (well, until 14 gets its act together), the only one that tried to bring together the world under one game, the only major MMORPG to have a home on Windows, a Sony platform, and the Xbox. A strange bird to say the least. But when you give Blue Mages that many spells, well, things get strange in a hurry. CGRundertow NASCAR UNLEASHED for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

NASCAR Unleashed Review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRUndertow review of NASCAR Unleashed, developed by Firebrand Studios and published by Activision for the XBOX 360. Get past some pretty annoying commentary that is more befitting of a 12 year old than anything else and you might just be able to enjoy this extreme racing game picking up from the decent NASCAR racing franchise once published by EA Sports. Pick a racer from the professional circuit and power through the competition with slingshots, drifts, and crashes, more than the actual finesse of stock car racing. This review features video gameplay footage of NASCAR Unleashed and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Eric. CGRundertow THE KORE GANG for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review

The Kore Gang review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Kore Gang from SnapDragon Games and Atari for the Nintendo Wii. Originally planned as an Xbox release, it was cancelled in 2003 before being picked up by a third publisher in 2006…and then a fourth publisher in 2010. If nothing else, there are some interesting ideas at work in The Kore Gang. It has a great art style—an occasionally brilliant one, in fact—and a fun sense of humor. But unfortunately, this is a game that stumbles over its own two feet, weighed down by the apparent scars of a troubled development cycle that spanned nearly a decade and two consoles. The Kore Gang is a 3D game, but only in a technical sense. It’s actually very linear, almost 2D in its feel because you’re essentially just going from point A to point B. It also has an abysmal camera. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Kore Gang for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.
